In 2021 marks the 20th year of LEGO Harry Potter. To celebrate the anniversary, 9 gold collecable minifigures were made, the roof of the Hogwarts sets was made in sand green, and this $300 set. Overall, this was a fun build and really challenged my rusty LEGO building techniques. Pros- Looks great, great value Cons- The play aspects are lost on the AFOL IMO.
Great model, with amazing and magical details, I like that the glasses are wearable and that the wand is "useable", a few details I feel were left out were, a light brick in the wand as well as the title of the books would've added extra character, also, an alternate first plate for the letter should've been included and said Harry Potter! I got this set as a present and I absolutely love it! Pros: Great build, great minifigures, great value. Cons: There are none. Do not hesitate to buy!
