Good building experience. Awesome display for this iconic ship. Minifigures setting is not perfect without a Kamino figure or Obi Wan. The designs of Jango's helmet storage and the shock bomb can easily be better. Price is ok. Reasonable display room requirement.

When this set was first rumoured, the obvious question was whether it would be little more than a recolour of 75060, as until recently that set was considered pretty much perfect by many AFOLs, including myself. With the reveal that the piece count was almost 1000 pieces higher (2970 vs 1996) than the original, it became clear this was no colour swap but an entirely reworked design. Even then I'll admit I was sceptic…

After years of waiting, I finally own a Slave 1, and let me tell you it doesn't disappoint. The size is perfect, the mini figs are perfect, the stand could be a little more sturdy, but I can 3d print my own stand. There is one piece that doesn't like to stay on for me.
