I’m a huge fan of the excavator style technic builds, this one brings a unique combination of pneumatic functions and manual functions. I’ve always preferred the manual pump for pneumatics, I think the only improvement would be inclusion of an air tank. Great build process, love rebuilding some of these newer sets.

Background I approach this review from the perspective of someone who is building their first Technic set in 30 years. I have a huge collection of other themes such as Pirates, Castle and Space, but have no interest in amassing a similar collection of Technic sets so have been waiting for the right Technic set to come along.
