As a fan of classic cars, I love this homage to the "fins and chrome" era. I like that, unlike 40409 , it has enough space for two minifigs. Speaking of 40409, the male minifig has the same head as the male minifig in that set. I do wish they would have used a double-sided head for him, though, as the hairpiece used for him would easily cover up an alternate face. The female minifig has shades on one side of her head…
American cars of the 50s were flamboyant and glitzy. The huge fins, abundance of chrome and large engines defined a majority of vehicles that came out of Detroit. Such cars represent a significant portion of automotive history, and I am glad for their existence. However, American cars from that era are not very common in my country.
