When I saw this set used for $100 with a motor I had to jump on it. It is my largest set, but not by much as I own the similarly sized Tower of Orthanc ( 10237 ) and slightly smaller Tantive IV ( 75244 ). However, I typically only buy Star Wars sets and have also purchased the entire LOTR/Hobbit line, town sets aren't really my thing aside from a few very small ones as I had as a kid in the 80's that have managed to

Intro First things first, you have to understand Lego is expensive. So spending $200 on a toy is a lot. But if you can get past that. I actually think that the content here is pretty good. compared to other sets in a similar price range. one It is a big model at almost two feet tall. Therefore one of the larger things that Lego has made. The build The build experience was decent. There were a few times where I was an

Summary This is the second rendition of a ferris wheel, and the first in the so-called Creator Expert-line. And having built it, I agree it is a set for the experts (and hard core Lego enthousiasts). It is also the second set in a line of what hopefully becomes a series of fairground objects (count is up to four so far). The first sets of bags, building up the base, is fun, but especially the final two groups of bags

This one was a great way to spend my weekend! While repetitive, it is a fun build. It’s also massive and looks great

When I first saw pictures of this model I thought: I must have this! So I bought this set quickly after its release. Building experience The first building steps are very interesting. It's cool to see how the ground is build part by part. When you come to the upper part, it gets a bit boring. You must build many connection elements for the wheel very often. But when the wheel is finally connected to the lower part, a

Identical to the real thing.4/5

This set was a joy to build. It actually challenged me for most of the build time because everything was opposite putting the base together. It was redundant in an way. I am considering getting the power function for it but haven't decided.
