What Sealed stores, what it never shows anyone else, and how to take it back. Last updated 24 August 2026.
What Sealed stores
Your email address. It is your account. Used to sign you in, to send the digests and alerts you opted into, and nothing else.
Your password, hashed. scrypt, salted, on the server. The plain password is never stored and never logged.
Your portfolio. Which sets you hold, in what condition and quantity — and, where you record it, what you paid and when.
Photographs you submit to identify a set. Forwarded to a third-party recognition service and discarded. Sealed writes no copy and stores nothing about the image against your account.
What Sealed never does
No tracking. No analytics SDK, no advertising identifier, no third-party framework in the app at all.
No selling or sharing for advertising. Your data is not a product and is not passed to data brokers.
No publishing what you paid. Cost basis and acquisition dates are never visible to anyone but you — see below.
Publishing your portfolio
Your portfolio is private by default. Nothing is visible to anyone else unless you turn on publishing yourself, in the app or on this site, and it is reversible from the same switch at any time.

A published portfolio is readable by signed-in Sealed collectors only — it is not on the open web and is not indexed by search engines. A link you share asks whoever receives it to sign in. Turning publishing off removes the page immediately.
Who else is involved
Hosting and database — the site and your data run on infrastructure operated by our hosting providers, in the United States.
Market data — Sealed reads completed sales and catalogue data from third-party sources. That traffic carries no information about you: it asks about sets, never about collectors.
Set identification — a photograph you submit is sent to a third-party recognition service to be identified. It carries no account identifier.
Email delivery — messages you opted into are sent through an email provider, which necessarily receives your address.
Your choices
Stop publishing — one switch, effective immediately.
Stop the mail — every digest and alert carries an unsubscribe link, and both can be turned off in the app.
Get a copy, or delete everything — write to access@sealedmark.com and we will export or erase your account and its contents.
Data is kept while your account exists. Deleting the account deletes the portfolio with it.
Children
Sealed is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them; if you believe a child has created an account, write to the address above and it will be removed.
